Trees In Afghanistan

I am in Afghanistan and I have been surprised at the difference in this country and Iraq. There are a lot of trees in Afghanistan, very large ones. I do not know the types but I think I have seen some cypress and oak.

I have attached a picture of one of the trees in Afghanistan that I have seen. This was taken at the govenor's palace in the Nangahar District.
