Resume To Work In Iraq

I have been getting a lot of e-mails from readers asking how exactly to get a job in Iraq. First, we have a great listing of companies currently hiring at http://www.iraq-up-close-and-personal.com/jobopportunitiesiniraq.html (copy and paste this in your browser). Also, there are great tips on http://www.iraq-up-close-and-personal.com/civilianjobsiniraq.html (again, copy and paste).
Go to the company website. Read the job description and then make sure your resume to work in Iraq has those keywords in it. And this goes for any company you are applying to.
I hope this helps.
If you know aircraft parts and assemblies, go to www.militaryhire.com since it seems like there were companies looking for people with this type of experience.
If you know how to load and transport materials and people aboard military aircraft, then go to www.militaryhire.com . I saw several companies looking for people with this type of experience. Iraq and Afghanistan are where the good money is now. The other Middle Eastern companies do not pay very well. And if push comes to shove, you might try CSA in Kuwait. They are usually looking for security people, but it is a hard job, mostly standing for hours in temperatures in the 130's Fahrenheit.
If you do wish to work overseas, then I encourage you to vote for John McCain and encourage your friends to do so as well. Hillary and Obama have both stated they will withdraw from Iraq shortly after taking office if they are elected. Of course, this is the platform they ran on to get elected as Senators and have done nothing towards bringing the troops home besides talk about it. Actually it seems that the whole Democratic party ran on this platform but once taking office they have done nothing to bring the troops home.
