The following are the Basic Qualifications for this position: Intelligence Analyst will provide direct support in all matters related to biometrics and intelligence collection for Combined Joint Task Force Commander, and Combined Explosive Exploitation Cell (CEXC) for its counter-IED mission. Provides direct support by facilitating biometrics support to MNC-I, CJTF-82 and MNF-I and it subordinate units. Ideal candidate will posses a demonstrated capability to work with minimal supervision in a highly dynamic environment connecting theater collections, exploitation and analytic efforts with COCOM, DoD and National biometric-enabled intelligence communities. Have experience serving as an information conduit among theater elements conducting operations, forensic collection and exploitation, legal reviews, detainee management, and biometrics-enabled intelligence. Essential skills include: knowledge of or the ability to learn and produce Biometric Identification Analysis Reports (BIARs), knowledge of or the ability to learn the Biometric Automated toolset (BAT) program. Candidates will have current an active TS/SCI with a current investigation. Experience with deployments to Iraq is preferred. Previous experience providing liasion between deployed units and various COCOMS is a plus. TS/SCI Security Clearance is required. Experience can be substituted for degree requirement. This position will have 6 month deployments to Iraq and or Afghanistan. Associates Degree and at least 3 years experience, an additional 4 years can be substituted for degree requirement. The candidate must be a highly qualified latent print examiner with the ability to effectively use proper scientific methodology to match latent and known prints. The candidate must be able to work well in a team environment experience or ability to teach classes and brief information pertaining to latent prints and processing of materials for latent prints. The candidate must have experience providing expert testimony in court and/or be IAI certified. The ideal candidate will posses excellent organizational skills as well as is proficient in processing porous and non-porous items for latent prints. Candidate must have experience processing evidence with chemicals in a laboratory setting and be proficient in obtaining known inked prints and major case prints. The candidate must be physically able and willing to rotationally deploy to either Iraq or Afghanistan a minimum of six months a year, be able to obtain a US Military secret clearance and US Passport and must be a US Citizen. The candidate will have experience with processing various types of evidence for latent prints, enhancing of visible latent prints, identifying and labeling latent prints of value on evidence to be photographed. The ideal candidate will have experience in comparing latent prints to known impressions and the ability to determine the identification or non-identification of latent prints to known impressions. The candidate will need to have the ability to verify the identification or non-identification of latent prints to known impressions and prepare detailed reports on processes performed and results. The candidate must have experience with or the ability to train personnel in the area of latent prints and maintain and document the chain of custody of evidence. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing detailed reports on processes performed and results, training personnel in the area of latent prints and collecting and preserving possible DNA evidence. The Latent Print Examiner performs technical and analytical tasks in the documentation, collection, preservation, and processing of latent prints. Scientifically assesses materials of evidentiary value to determine the best methodology for developing, enhancing and preserving latent prints. Analyses, compares and evaluates known and latent prints to determine positive identification or non-identification of the friction ridge detail. Knowledge of AFIS database operations and exposure to Universal Latent Workstation (ULW) preferred but not required. Defining the future.
