DynCorp is looking for a Medic. The qualifications are as follows:

Position Description Responsible for OCONUS based operational support of assigned DynCorp International (DI) program(s) under direction of the Director of CIVPOL Operations and Vice President of CIVPOL Program. Under the direction of the Physician?s Assistant and relevant FOB Manager, PEF, provides medical care and support to all PEF personnel.

Principal Responsibilities of the Classification:

A. Provides health care services to patients under the professional direction and responsibility of a Physician?s Assistant, Physician, or Registered Nurse. In a PEF mission operational environment, works as a member of the Forward Operating Base (FOB) Team, under the direction of the FOB Manager.B. Examines patients, performs physical exams, and compiles medical data, including health history under the supervision of the PA or RN.C. Performs therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, management of infection, EKG?s, etc under the supervision of the PA or RN.D. Documents and maintains patient records of services which are co-signed by the PA or RN.E. Coordinates treatment plan with other caregivers such as, U.S. Military Medical Assets, ISAF Medical Assets, physical therapists or other medical assets as directed by the PA or RN.F. Under the guidance and supervision of the Physician?s Assistant, develops medical training curricula, inclusive of goals and time lines for the training of DI PEF and ANP PEF elements. Participates in employee training and orientation programs. Establishes and monitors the achievement of training and execution standards for both DI and ANP personnel ensuring all medical support relevant operational and deployment tasks are to standard. Implements Medical training of foreign nationals to include PEF Afghan National Police.G. Plans and prepares for aero medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) missions. H. Coordinates with operational mission planners for the safe evacuation of the patients from the originating mission to the destination facility.I. Provides medical attendance if/where required.J. Responsible for maintaining and requisition of medical supplies and equipment during deployments, restocking and inventories upon return to PEF Kabul.K. During field operations additionally responsible for health and welfare of living areas, food preparation and dining areas, latrines and washing facilities. Will conduct periodic inspections of afore mentioned areas and insure proper corrections are made if deficiencies are noted.L. Advises and assists Afghan National Police medical staff on supply requisition, emergency treatment and evacuation of patients.M. Provides medical support to U.S., local nationals and Afghan National Police during convoy movements, poppy cutting operations and other field related commitments of the PEF.N. Serves as a coach, mentor, and trainer to the ANP PEF.O. Performs other duties as assigned.

Special Knowledge/Skills Required for Medical Jobs in Iraq.

A. The candidate must possess skills relating to understanding cultural awareness while working with Host Nationals (HN) in a post conflict environment and have demonstrated ability to live, work and communicate with HNs for extended periods of time under austere conditions with the object of advising host nationals with the intent of achieving the customers end state of a HN unit capable of independent operations.B. Ability to communicate fluently in the English language.C. Must be able to travel and live at overseas work locations and meet minimum agility and health standards required by contract. Will be required to plan for and work in a wide variety of operational circumstances, including extreme weather conditions, rudimentary infrastructure, field deployments that implicate extended deployment periods of time in tents and hazardous conditions consistent with working in an insurgent environment for periods of up to three months or more at any one time.D. Flexibility and ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.E. Must demonstrate flexibility to adapt to changing requirements.F. Ability to work with and convey concepts and procedures to host nationals in a professional, non-condescending manner.G. Must maintain personal Physical Fitness at all times. H. Able to pass a routine Physical Fitness Test in accordance with DynCorp Crucible standard when scheduled.I. Must be able to qualify with the M4 carbine and 9mm pistol. J. Must have basic land navigational skills.K. Able to use a GPS (Global Positioning System) device.L. Knowledge of various computer applications such as Microsoft applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access).

Preferred Skills Education Required for Medical Jobs in Iraq.

A Current National EMT-P or military medical 18D equivalent Certification is required. Certification must be current with all applicable education/re-certification requirements completed..

Experience Required:

5-7 years experience in the medical field as a medic with at least 3 years experience in an independent duty role. He/she should have experience on deployed contingency operations or similar medical experience with formal training in the diagnosis and treatment of minor and serious illness. Experience rendering health and welfare support in an austere environment with rudimentary infrastructure is highly desired.

Position Responsibilities •Performs all medical care of guard force personnel •Manage the clinic •Provide medical and trauma training to deployed personnel •Provide oversight for in-country medics •Must be willing to travel to various locations in Iraq via personal security detail and/or ground/air military assets

Essential Skills and Experience for this Medical Jobs in Iraq:•US Citizen •Shall be fluent in English •Able to read and write in English •Possess an active/able to obtain a US or Coalition Secret Clearance •Currently licensed Physician Assistant •Minimum of two years experience as a Physician Assistant •Previous military experience with honorable discharge, preferably in special operations •Must have no felony or domestic violence conviction. Record of recent recurring misdemeanors may adversely impact candidate’s suitability rating •Employment with Triple Canopy is contingent upon a favorable background check to include no serious financial problems in the past seven years

Physical Demands and Work Environment Able to perform medical support for 12 hours, often in austere conditions to include extreme heat, cold, rain or snow, while donning all required personal protective gear.

Education Required for Medical Jobs in Iraq:A. Current NREMT-P or NREMT-I (85 or 99) and BLS/ACLS through contract period. B. Certification must be current with all applicable education/recertification requirements completed.

Experience Required: A. Minimum 3 years of experience in high risk environments such as military special operations medical experience (18D, PJ, FMF corpsman etc.) or significant military combat experience as a medic or a specialized Law enforcement unit (SWAT).B. Should have experience on deployed contingency operations or similar medical experience.C. Should be familiar with Microsoft Windows and Office programs and the ability to maintain and produce routine medical reports and patient census data.D. Must have the experience and ability to provide medically related class presentations for first responder trauma care.

Preferred Skills Special Knowledge/Skills Required for Medical Jobs in Iraq:A. U.S. CitizenB. Candidates must have an clean background and be able to pass a DoS background for a No Objection security clearance.C. Candidates must be able to pass a stringent physical exam, psychological exam, dental screening and drug screening with no chronic conditions requiring periodic evaluations or specialty consultationsD. Candidates must be able to qualify and maintain proficiency with personal weapons M-9, M-4 and team weapons M240B, M249. Failure to qualify will result in disqualification for the PSD detachment.E. Candidates must pass a Physical Efficiency Battery. Failure to pass will result in disqualification for the PSD detachment. F. Candidates must be able to pass a Protective Security Services operators course which includes a motor vehicle driving evaluation. Failure to pass any portion of the course will result in disqualification for the PSD detachment.
