Kuwait JobsI wanted to add this page called Kuwait jobs. Here each day I will try to add some possible jobs as well as Iraq and Afghanistan for the reader to check out. In the last week, CSA has added numerous jobs to its Kuwait jobs list at militaryhire.com site. Most of these jobs are in Kuwait. Also CSA has different postings at their site www.csakuwait.com. Most of the CSA jobs will pay around $50,000 a year. They do provide housing. It is usually an apartment that you share with two other people. Each person will have their room and bath room with a shared kitchen and living room area. The housing is in Kuwait but the bases are an hour to two away. The work day is about 10-12 hours not including the travel time. Usually CSA employees get a day off. The picture below is one of my kitchen in Kuwait.
Kuwait itself is safe. There was no one there trying to kill me. However, if you are driving in the city it may seem different. The drivers in Kuwait are very rude and the Kuwaiti drivers are even worse since they drive as if they own the country—sorry, they do.
A computer will read your resume first and if it does not see key words in your resume, then it is field and no human eyes see your resume. Another company with Kuwait jobs and is also worldwide is Agility Logistics. They supply a lot of materials into Iraq, mostly food. You would not want to be one of their drivers. Their drivers make very little money. They could leave Kuwait and move from one base to another base and not be back for a month. They have to sit for days in some MCT yards. They have to provide their own food and water. Some bases have showers for them, some do not. Some have flushing toilets for them, others so not. And there is no heat or A/C. You cannot sit and let your truck run for hours and hours. It is not allowed. Most of the drivers are from India.
One thing to watch out for is that many countries outside the United States do not have the labor laws we do. In some cases workers have gone months without getting paid. There is always the chance of getting killed. I have see trucks pull in with all kinds of damage. Bullet holes through the windshield. Busted windows from rocks. Places where an RPG hit and bounced off. In one case we got a new fork lift at Camp Warhorse. But the connex it was in was hit by IED. The IED sent shrapnel into the exhaust and radiator of the forklift. It took us a month to fix it.
