Iraqi Dinar Forums

Iraqi dinar forums are hosted by people offering various opinions on what should be done and what should not be done regarding this topic. Lots of people post on these sites, talking about the money they want to make. There are many sites about investing/buying Iraqi dinars.

I do not know a lot about Iraqi dinars and the policies in Iraq, but what I do know is that the Iraqis searched us very well before allowing us to get on a plane to leave Iraq. If they found dinars, the dinars were confiscated. The Iraqi people will not allow them to leave the country legally. There may be some Iraqi officials who will allow it for a bribe, but honest officials will not allow it.

When reading these forums it would seem that some people made money with the dinars. I do not know of anyone who was able to buy them and then re-sell them for a huge profit.I will just go with what I have heard many times in my life, “If it sounds too good to be true, then maybe it is.”

Below is some paper Saudi Arabian money, five riyals.

iraq currency,

Here is an interesting site called Dinar News

To keep up with what is happen with the dinar, visit Dinar Forum.

I have worked with people who bought the dinars thinking they would be able to re-sell them for a fortune. But they did not. You see, the buyers had to depend on Iraqi citizens who wanted to make money to do the selling for them. So these buyers would give the Iraqis several thousand dollars to buy dinars. Unfortunately for them, the Iraqis usually would not come back.

Let me explain. In Iraq, the typical Iraqi family can live for a year on $2,000. Or, the buyer would give the Iraqi citizen thousands of dollars worth of dinars to sell and, once again, never see the Iraqi after that.

When reading the Iraqi dinar forums, one thing stands out. It is a very risky thing, especially with the uncertainty that is happening in the country today. Perhaps one day, the people there will learn to live in peace, and then tourism and such will thrive, but I am not holding my breath.
