Iraq War Beheadings

Iraq war beheadings seemed to rule the day in 2004 and 2005, as war beheadings were the insurgent’s choice weapon of terror to terrorize the civilian population, both Iraqi and foreign contractor.

However, there was a large out cry about the beheadings by the Iraqi insurgents and even Al Qaeda started to speak out against these decapitations.

Today their weapon of choice are kidnappings. They use this as a way to terrorize the Iraq people and others. They will also use them as a way to get ransom money so they can continue their fight.

The beheadings performed by the insurgents were designed to strike terror into the hearts of the Iraqis and coalition forces. No one was immune to these beheadings.

Men, women and children were beheaded for speaking out against the insurgents or working on American bases. But some of this was never reported by the media.

They do not mind telling the American people about the times the American military kills women and children. But when the insurgents kill women and children by beheading them, they do not report this.

However, the beheadings had the opposite affect. They enraged the Iraqi people. Even members of Al Qaeda said they had to stop. And they did stop.

The TV station Aljazeera was broadcasting these beheadings. But today even Aljazeera has stopped showing these. The beheadings are not helping the cause of the insurgents.

Even though the insurgents are not using beheadings they are still taking Iraqis captive and executing them gang style.

Hardly a week goes by that some sort of mass grave is not found.

I have looked at several sites on the internet about beheadings, but they show nothing. Usually these lead to some sort of ad, usually sexual in nature. I guess to some people there is nothing too sacred not to make a buck off of.
