Camp Falcon Explosion

On October 10th, around 10:40 pm, a Camp Falcon Explosion commenced as soldiers and civilian contractors were going to sleep.

It is thought that a mortar round hit the ammo dump. But this was just the beginning of the explosion. For three hours the ammo dump burned and exploded sending mushroom like clouds into the night air.

The bunker had bombs, tank shells and small arms ammo. The following is a video of the incident. There is a lot of cussing going on.

Here is another video taken from a different angle. Here they say something about 18 mortars incoming.

Notice that all of a sudden the voices stop as they head for shelter but leave the video camera running.

Also watch the door to the right as the blast concussion knocks it open each time a bomb goes off.

Thankfully no one was hurt.
