Al-Qaeda or Al-Qaida

Al-Qaeda, also spelled as al-Qaida, was started by Osama bin Laden. In 1996, he moved from Sudan to Afghanistan and forged an alliance with the Taliban.

Okay, now check this part out: Osama bin Laden financed the Taliban. And get this: Because they protected him from extradition to stand trial for terrorist crimes, Osama bin Laden proclaimed the Taliban the only Islamic government that exists.That says a whole lot, doesn't it? He is responsible for all of the abuse that the Taliban afflicts on woman and innocent civilians. We truly need to find him and send him on to Allah.

Al-Qaeda or al-Qaida translates as "the base." It was founded in 1989. This organization wants to eliminate all foreign influence in Muslim countries. They want to eradicate all infidels (anyone who is not Muslim). They want to eliminate Israel. They want to create a new Islamic caliphate (an Islamic government uniting all Muslims everywhere that is based on Islamic theology).

Of course, this is a terrorist organization and its most famous crime was 9/11. This refers to the attacks on September 11, 2001 where they hijacked United States commercial planes and flew them into the World Trade Center, Towers 1 and 2 in New York City, and to the Pentagon in Washington DC.

They also took a fourth plane that day that was meant for the White House. The Brave passengers on this flight fought the terrorists and the plane went down in Pennsylvania.

Shortly after this tragedy, the United States government declared war on terror and began the Iraq and Afghanistan invasion as Osama bin Laden was said to be in Iraq. He is the master-mind behind 9/11.

We destroyed many of the terrorists' training areas and put the Taliban government in Afghanistan out of business. The Taliban and the insurgents still continue to kill and destroy in Afghanistan and Iraq. Osama bin Laden is still on the loose. He turns up from time to time through videos that are shown all over the world.

Osama claims that the United States defiled his country of Saudi Arabia when the United States was INVITED there to shield Saudi Arabia from possible attack from Iraq. It is important to remember that in 1990, the United States, along with the United Nations, were ASKED to come and defend other countries from attacks from Iraq.

It is important to remember that we were minding our own business when Osama bin Laden attacked the United States on 9/11.
