2 United States Civilians Killed

Reuters reported yesterday, June 24, 2008, that a roadside bomb killed 2 United States civilians, along with 8 other people including 2 United States soldiers. The 2 United States civilians killed were government employees. The bombing took place in Sadr City which is in Baghdad.

Condoleeza Rice said that this bombing reminds us all of the dangers of working in Iraq for civilians.

The others killed were one Italian national and 5 Iraqis.
